of the NIH The Office of Management is located within the NIH Office of the Director and has responsibility for management and financial functions of the NIH. The office is headed by Colleen Barros, the Deputy Director for Management (DDM) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who advises the NIH Director and staff on all phases of NIH-wide administration and management. A new initiative developed by this office in coordination with the Executive Officers from NIH's Institutes and Centers is the DDM Seminar Series.
